Project Overview

A Sacramento-based pressure washing company reached out to me with a simple goal: get more calls, more leads, and more visibility in local searches.

Despite offering great service, their Google Business Profile (GBP) was underperforming. They weren’t showing up in the map pack, they had low engagement, and potential customers were going to competitors.

That’s where I came in.

My Approach & Execution

1. GBP Optimization

I overhauled their Google Business Profile with full NAP info, service areas, hours, geo-tagged photos, FAQs, and keyword-rich descriptions to align with how customers were searching (e.g., “driveway cleaning near me”, “Sacramento pressure washing”).

2. Local Citations & Authority Building

I submitted their business to 50+ authoritative directories, focusing on both general and home services platforms. This boosted their trust signals with Google and improved ranking consistency.

3. GBP Content & Engagement

  • Posted weekly updates showcasing before/after results and cleaning tips.
  • Responded to every review (good or bad) to boost engagement and reputation.
  • Encouraged happy clients to leave detailed, keyword-rich reviews.

4. Targeted Local Keyword Strategy

Using local SEO tools, I identified and targeted high-intent search terms specific to their services and area. These keywords were added into:

  • GBP content and Q&As
  • Meta titles and headers
  • Optimized website landing pages

5. Ongoing Monitoring & Reporting

I tracked phone calls, website clicks, and profile views weekly using Google Business Insights. I also adjusted the strategy monthly based on real performance data.

The Outcome

Within months, the difference was night and day:
